Lauren grew up in Ozark, Missouri, graduating as Valedictorian of her high school class. Although originally a Biology major with the intention of becoming a Zookeeper, she found her love of numbers after being entrusted with the bookkeeping at a local architecture firm. While working full-time, Lauren put herself through college, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Missouri State University.

Before she even graduated, Lauren had already built her own successful company specializing in full-service, customized bookkeeping solutions for small business of all types. In 2016, after managing her business for five years, Lauren accepted a full-time position with Küat Racks where she eventually grew to become the company’s first Financial Controller. Lauren left her position with Küat to join the ACO team in 2023.

In her free time, Lauren enjoys home improvement projects, riding bikes with her son, working out at OrangeTheory Fitness, and reading. Lauren has always had a passion for animals; her first job was as a dog groomer’s assistant. She has volunteered as a docent at Dickerson Park Zoo, and has fostered countless dogs. She currently has two dogs (a Shih Tzu named Calliope and a Shih Tzu/Chihuahua mix named Primrose) and a cat (Dudley).
